Isn't it important that whenever we can, that you arrive at that point of meeting them, feeling powerful, feeling seen, feeling heard, and that the baby can arrive feeling safe, because otherwise we spend the rest of our lives trying to heal that."

Knowing how you show up for clients and being able to really clearly articulate that to them in a consultation is vital to your business growth and success as a Doula! 

Ann has I have developed a four step maneuver sequence that actually improves the position of the baby into that optimal left occiput anterior. If you were to look at the entire beautiful aspect of Gilligan's Guide, it is more of a educational platform that empowers people to understand the anatomy and physiology of birth and to be able to use your voice, use your beautiful body and bring together the group of birth workers at your birth to achieve the best outcome.

As a business owner it’s imperative that you know your own story. Why are you doing this work? What made you decide to be a doula in the first place? Why do you love it? What lights you up about this work? These are all questions that must be answered in order to adequately show your true passion in your doula consultations and other conversations.
